Hi, I'm Jola!
I was born on May 2017 alongside my trouble-making twin, Balu. We hit the adoption jackpot three months later, landing in the laps of a nice family with a couple of energetic kiddos. I was all about cozying up with their daughter, claiming her bed as my own personal kingdom.
But then, cue the dramatic music, they brought in a hyperactive puppy who thought we were the latest chew toys! Talk about a fur-raising experience – we ended up staging our own feline version of hide-and-seek in a single room.
Thankfully, our family finally caught on to the chaos and upgraded us to a new pad. Fast forward to June 9th, 2019, and we landed in our forever home with Mum and Dad. Trust me, it didn't take me long to cozy up to Mum, especially when she had that warm snuggle spot at night.
Now, let's talk about Balu – he's like the self-proclaimed king of the castle, but I'm not one to roll over and play dead. If he gets too close, you better believe I'll give him a hiss that'll send him packing! We've even struck a deal – he's on Mum duty during the day, while I take the night shift.
Oh, and don't get me started on my hobbies – string chasing, pretend fishing, you name it! And when it comes to food, I'm all about that wet food life, but throw in a few crunchy treats, and you've got yourself a happy camper – or should I say, a happy kitty!
Hey there, I'm Balu!
Jola already spilled the catnip on our early days, so let's skip ahead to the good stuff – finding our forever home. It took me a tad longer to settle in, but soon enough, I was smitten with our new Mum. I make sure to give her a warm welcome when she struts through the door, purring up a storm and rubbing against her legs like there's no tomorrow.
Now, I might look gentle, but once I'm in hunt mode, watch out! I become a fearless, lightning-fast ninja cat, ready to pounce on anything that moves. Being the big guy around here, I naturally call the shots, especially when it comes to treats. Dry treats are my jam, and I'm not above employing some expert-level begging techniques to score 'em.
Mum's all about that wet food for health reasons, but a cat's gotta dream, right? And as for my hobbies, well, let's just say I'm quite the fisherman – just ask my favorite toy!
